This is a unique offering for SGIN Members where EnerKnol access is normally limited to a significant subscription cost that some members may not find affordable. By accessing the service offerings, you will get insights from the EnerKnol platform and provided added benefit from your SGIN membership.

What is EnerKnol?

What are the Energy Knowledge Services (EKS) offerings being piloted by SGIN with EnerKnol? SGIN is offering Energy Knowledge Services – This is being initiated as a pilot using the EnerKnol subscription platform to benefit all Members. We encourage you to review the offerings and ask us about the opportunity to benefit from this offering. To date, we are offering the following ways for Members to benefit from EnerKnol and SGIN’s collaboration:
SGIN releases EnerKnol Reports (EK Primers) to Members. EK Reports come from EK’s own research teams’ work based on their subscribers’ requests on a regular basis, with summary updates across diverse topics of interest to our members.

SGIN conducts a member requested search or conducts an EKS study for a member. SGIN engages with the member to review the search request, delivers the search findings. Studies will typically engage an Associate to complete the work for the member.
- Option 1: Search Only – (Search results list with PDF documents in a share folder) – Member Pricing: $1500+tx
- Option 2: Search & Study – SGIN contracted to do a Search and summary study report, with references. Member Pricing:$2500+tx + $250/hr
- Option 3: RFP Search Service (limited for Sept to Dec 2024), free to Top Tier members – $1500+tx per search request.

SGIN provides to a member their own access to search the EK Portal and conduct their own work. Includes a brief portal review. Billed monthly for a monthly access. Max 3 months per member.
Member pricing: $2000+tx/ per month based on a monthly booking charge. Booking is subject to availability.

How do I benefit from this as a SGIN Member?
SGIN has engaged with EnerKnol to subscribe and offer Energy Knowledge Services, several piloted offerings that draw from the EnerKnol platform and its offerings. Depending on your Membership level, these discounted opportunities to draw from the EnerKnol platform provide you real time access to current understandings scanned form the platform and made relevant based on your current needs and interests. Some offerings are provided at no cost and several offerings are fee-based. Provided there has been positive response to these piloted offerings from the EnerKnol platform, SGIN will continue to offer this as a member benefit.
SGIN is continuously looking to provide value to its diverse Member base and to find ways to provide long term sustainability to its core operations to ensure affordable membership. Offering such piloted offerings allows us to explore the responsiveness of the opportunities we create with Members, and to find the value to retain and attract members.
