New Indigenous Board Seat and FREE Membership for non-profit Indigenous organizations!

We are excited to announce a significant step towards inclusivity and diversity within the Smart Grid Innovation Network Canada.

In our commitment to amplifying Indigenous voices and fostering collaboration, we have added a new Board seat specifically designated for Indigenous Members. This initiative is aimed at ensuring Indigenous voices contribute to the strategic visioning for SGIN as an organization,  and recognizing the significant contributions that Indigenous communities and organizations continue to make in advancing towards a more sustainable world for future generations. SGIN is committed to ensuring representation and participation from Indigenous organizations in fostering Canada’s transition to a clean energy future.

Additionally, we are excited to offer FREE SGIN Membership to non-profit Indigenous organizations in Canada working in the energy sector, enabling greater access and engagement within our national network.
